Recently, Drupal achieved the milestone of its Drupal 7 Beta release, which was a welcome news to the enthusiastic Drupal followers worldwide. Drupal creator Dries Buytaert wrote an article, and also gave a State-of-Drupal presentation, announcing the expected Drupal 10 release date should be two years from now — around June 2022.

Twenty years ago today, Drupal was founded by Dries Buytaert. The Drupal story began in a dorm room at the University of Antwerpen, and a lot has been achieved since.
